Khurja is a vibrant small town, home of the Pathans situated around 90 km from Delhi having two Central Ceramics and Glass Research Institutes in India. Uttar Pradesh is the 3rd largest state in india. Khurja is located 90km fron Delhi (capital of india), and 298km from Luknow(capital of Uttar Pradesh). It can be reached by road or train. The drive takes about two & half hours, as there is heavy traffic on the road. However a lot of time can be reduced by taking the expressway from Delhi to Noida, and the Dankaur station road to Sikandrabad, 37 km from Khurja. Starting early enough, a day trip is sufficient to see Khurja. There are more than 450 factories producing ceramic works.
